What would Henry Lahti Say is a Finnish Moment

A call to all British Columbians

Help to define moments that celebrate British Columbia’s rich history. Submit an event from our past that has helped to shape our great province. In every community, there have been special moments in our history that have left their mark. These British Columbia Moments are to be celebrated and remembered. Chosen entries will be preserved in a series of 150 engraved stones to be laid in the grounds of the Parliament Buildings in our capital city.

All entries should be a maximum of 50 words; just a sentence or two. The final text to be engraved on the stones will be very brief. A distinguished committee appointed by the Hon. Bill Barisoff, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly will be selecting the final 150 entries. All entries will receive a certificate signed by Mr. Speaker, so be sure to include your contact information.

Don’t delay -- the deadline is Friday, December 12, 2008.
