Runeberg Celebration
We are commemorating the birthday of Finland's national poet with emphasis on Runebergas a chronicler, in the Tales of Ensign Stål, of the war of 1808-09 between Sweden and, which 200 years ago resulted in Finland gaining statehood.

The program, featuring musical performances and speeches, is hosted by the Canadian Friends of Finland (Vancouver).
The program will be hosted in Finnish, Swedish and English.
