The Documentary Film and the book depict the memories of the Finnish War Veterans who,
some at a very young age, first fought the Russians and then the Germans, after the war leaving
the country they so fiercely defended to start a new life in Canada.
The event takes place on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 6:30 PM
at the Scandinavian Community Centre.
Donations are being requested for the silent auction.

The project team includes Leena Kelly, Satu Bell and Ilkka Uitto.
Mari Petznek will perform her music.
The Finnish Military M/29 Field Kitchen will be in full action making soup available, courtesy of the Finnish War Veterans of British Columbia.
